There is nothing like a fresh, new snuggly baby!  Newborn sessions are a great way to start your life!

We do suggest booking your Newborn Session before the baby arrives.  Sounds crazy I know, but have found the only way to balance all those bundles of joy is with a little planning.  Most of our Mom’s are booking in their 6th or 7th month.  We reserve your session based on your due date.  We know they don’t come on their due date, but our Mom’s that have reserved will be photographed if the baby comes early or decides to come a little later.  We work them in and they are given the best possible session times.  Yes, this does make our schedule a little harder to manage, but it is worth it.  For our Mom’s that didn’t reserve before having the baby we try to fit them in as we can.

We like our babies 4-10 days old when we photograph them- that means call before baby is here!  If you are calling on day 7 you might not get in, or you will be a Post Newborn Session- which is still fabulous, but more expensive.  The most economical option is the Reserved Newborn Session.

Themes: We work with our families to create unique images that are relevant to that family.  Sometimes it will be whimsical and sometimes it will be classic.  After booking we go over the best way to prepare for your session.  We usually like to get two different looks for each of our babies.

Session Pricing Effective Jan 1, 2011 is as follows:

Reserved Newborn Session- For our Mom’s that book before the baby arrives. (1-2 hours of time)  $150.00

On the Spot Newborn Session- For our Mom’s that call in the first few days of life that we are able to work into the schedule before they are 11 days old.  (1-2 hours of time) $175

The Post Newborn- these are the babies that are over 11 days old when we photograph them.  (2-3 hours of time due to the older age of the baby)  $200
