FAQ’s by fellow photographers

We get a lot of questions from clients and fellow photographer’s both.  We thought we would save some time for everyone and answer a few questions here.

Photographer Questions:

Does Stephanie do workshops & private tutoring?

We have had a lot of interest and might consider doing a workshop in Summer 2011.  In the meanwhile you can watch for Stephanie speaking at a conference near you.  For private tutoring is is $2.,000/ day at her studio – $3,000/ day + expenses at yours.

Where do you get all your props?

Stephanie has always enjoyed shopping and “treasure hunting”  while out and about!  Most of the props have been accumulated over the years.

Do you make all the sets?

Many of the sets are Stephanie’s design and several her own handy work!  The girl knows how to create a life size gingerbread house in an afternoon when needed!  Some ideas she has swapped with fellow photographer friends around the country.

What camera do you use?

Stephanie is an avid Nikon girl.  Shooting a D3 and an arsenal of lenses ranging from 16mm to 400mm.  After trying a 5D for awhile she did say it is OK, but the Nikon is just more her style.  Madison loves Canon so she shoots a 5D with a nice bag of lenses as well.  Her favorite might be the 85mm  f1.2.

Samantha it depends on what you are looking to do. I tend to use several different types of lights and modifiers depending on what I would like to create. It is important to remember that color temp of both your lights and your modifiers are important.
